At the first International Symposium on Circular Hydrometallurgy in Mechelen, Belgium (9-11 September 2024), leading experts will discuss the “Twelve Principles of Circular Hydrometallurgy” and their implications for the future of the field. The symposium is organised by the SOLVOMET R&I Centre and supported by Koen Binnemans’ CIRMET project and the Horizon Europe CICERO project, together with SIM2 KU Leuven and other European projects focusing on circular hydrometallurgy of energy transition metals such as lithium and nickel/cobalt.
