12 Oct 3rd CIRRUS Intensive Course on Circular Residue Usage in the Metallurgical Industry
The 3d CIRRUS course, developed within the EIT RawMaterials, will address circular residue usage in the metallurgical industry. During the training, attendees will discuss the origin and characteristics of secondary materials generated in different metallurgical industries, as well as opportunities and challenges related to recycling in the metallurgical industry. Characterization methods, pre-treatment methods, agglomeration techniques and specially designed processes for recycling will be presented and discussed too.
The course, aimed for professionals in metallurgical industry, research institutes, PhD students, environmental agencies and decision makers, will take place both virtually via Zoom and on-site at the University of Oulu in Finland.
