At the invitation of DG-GROW, Stéphane Bourg participated in the ReinEU (Re-Industrialisation of the European Union 2016) Conference held on 26-28 October 2016 in Bratislava, Slovakia.
He contributed to the session dedicated to raw materials supply, together with Karen Hanghøj, Chief Programme Officer, EIT RawMaterial, Peter Moser, Vice Rector, Head of Mining and Mineral Economics Department, Montanuniversitaet Leoben and Michal Cehlar, Dean of Faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control and Geotechnologies, Technical University of Košice.
All contributors highlighted the importance of addressing both primary and secondary resources in the circular economy.
